Welcoming new apprentices in Scotland

January 2nd, 2023 by

We were delighted to welcome nine apprentice welders to our facility in Kintore this week.

This first intake of apprentices by our business in Scotland comes at a revolutionary time in the company’s history and shows a tremendous investment in the future of our business and the industry as a whole.

As an organisation, we are very proud to commit to the Young Person’s Guarantee and join employers across Scotland in creating the best opportunities we can for young people.

Our new apprentices were given a comprehensive induction day which included a meeting with their apprenticeship mentors, and a tour of our state-of-the-art facility in Kintore, where they got to see some of our industry-leading technology in action.

Of these nine apprentices, six will be studying at the University of Highlands and Islands Campus in Inverness, and three will study through North East Scotland College in Fraserburgh.

We very much look forward to supporting our new team members as they commence their careers.
