CRC Evans Takes Centre Stage with Major Wins at Burnley Business Awards

The awards recognise the company’s continued investment in innovation, engineering excellence and the people who drive its success from its Burnley headquarters.

The Business of the Year award recognises CRC Evans’ sustained growth, innovation and investment in Burnley as its global engineering hub. From its roots in specialist welding and protective coating for the oil and gas sector, the company has grown into a global leader, with Burnley remaining central to its operations and future growth. The award success is underpinned by its new 90,000 sq. ft EMEAA headquarters and Centre of Excellence, which strengthen its ability to deliver complex, high-value projects worldwide and drive future growth.

CRC Evans was praised by the judges for its people and culture, recognising that the company’s success is measured by far more than growth or scale, and highlighting its lasting contribution to industry, the local economy and the Burnley community.

The Young Employee of the Year Award was presented to Maintenance and Operations Engineering Technician Apprentice Hollie Mayhew, recognising her exceptional contribution as an emerging engineering talent.

The judges praised Hollie’s determination and passion for engineering, recognising the significant impact she has already made through her work and her commitment to encouraging more women to pursue careers in engineering.
