Chief Executive Officer
Fred is the Chief Executive Officer of CRC Evans (CRCE) and an executive director of the board. He brings a wealth of experience from across the welding services industry, primarily in the offshore and spoolbase pipeline construction sectors. He started his career in 1996 working with Serimer Dasa and held various leadership positions within the operations and engineering departments until 2011 when he was appointed as Managing Director of Serimax. Fred is a qualified mechanical engineer and welding engineer with a strong commitment to occupational health and safety. Most recently, Fred was CEO of Pipeline Technique Limited and executive director of the board.
Chief Operating Officer
Ben is the Chief Operating Officer for CRC Evans (CRCE) and is a member of the board. He brings over 30 years experience in the offshore pipeline sector, beginning his career as a welder with Umax Pipeline contractors and holding a number of leadership positions prior to becoming the company’s Operations Director. He later held the position of Managing Director of CRC Evans Offshore where he grew the business stream to achieve revenues of over $100m. In his most recent role Ben was the COO of Pipeline Technique Limited and member of the board.
Chief Finance Officer
Phil is the Chief Finance Officer for CRC Evans (CRCE) and a member of the board. A chartered accountant by profession, Phil has held the position of CFO for a number of private-equity owned and listed businesses, several of which operated on a global basis. His sector experiences include the oil and gas, nuclear and defense and construction sectors. Over the course of his career he has played a significant role in a number of high profile corporate transactions. He is also a member of the Institute of Taxation. In his most recent role Phil was CFO of Pipeline Technique and a member of the board.
Corporate Development Director
Duncan Holland is the Corporate Development Director of CRC Evans (CRCE). Duncan plays a key role in delivering the ambitious growth strategy for CRC Evans and working towards the group’s environmental, social and governance (ESG) goals. Prior to joining, Duncan previously held the position of Legal and Commercial Director for Capricorn Energy PLC (formerly Cairn Energy PLC), a FTSE 250 oil and gas company based in Edinburgh, where he managed various key functions for the Group’s worldwide operations.
Strategic Growth Director
Leon Dashwood is the Strategic Growth Director of CRC Evans (CRCE). Playing a key role in CRC Evan’s growth strategy, Leon drives development activities related to new opportunities and markets, accelerating the growth and diversification plans. Leon brings a wealth of experience and expertise from 17 years in the global energy sector. He previously held the position of Regional Managing Director for Enerpac Tool Group (NYSE – EPAC), a leading industrial tools and service business based in Dubai, overseeing sales and operations across the Middle East, North Africa and Caspian regions.
