Chairman of the Board
With over 38 years of experience in the energy and oil and gas industries, Luis has worked on a portfolio of advisory roles, with global experience in project management, engineering and sales, most recently as CEO of Aker Solutions from 2014 to 2020. Prior to his appointment as CEO, he held Regional President and Executive Vice-President roles in the company since 2011. Prior to his period with Aker Solutions, he was CEO of Wellstream Brazil, a pipeline products company with a wide range of pipe solutions, currently part of Baker Hughes GE.
Non-executive Director
In addition to sitting on the board of CRC Evans, Martin is a Managing Director at Bluewater and has 20 years of private equity and M&A experience in the energy sector. He has a focus on companies within the energy service, technology and infrastructure markets. Martin is currently a board member of 3T Energy Group, GES Group, Unique Group, ROVOP and IMServ.
Chief Executive Officer
Mauro is the Chief Executive Officer of CRC Evans (CRCE) and an executive director of the board. Mauro brings over 30 years’ experience in the global energy sector to CRC Evans, joining from Saipem in August 2025. With Saipem he built a distinguished international career in offshore pipelaying and beyond. Having worked extensively across Europe, Southeast Asia, and North America, he offers deep expertise and a nuanced understanding of complex energy & diversified markets.
His leadership track record includes serving as CEO of Saipem Americas, where he expanded operations and secured major EPCI projects, growing turnover to USD $800 million; Director of Innovation and Digital Transformation, driving operational modernisation; and COO of Robotics and Industrialised Solutions, spearheading automation and efficiency initiatives.
Chief Operating Officer
Ben is the Chief Operating Officer for CRC Evans (CRCE) and is a member of the board. He brings over 30 years experience in the offshore pipeline sector, beginning his career as a welder with Umax Pipeline contractors and holding a number of leadership positions prior to becoming the company’s Operations Director. He later held the position of Managing Director of CRC Evans Offshore where he grew the business stream to achieve revenues of over $100m. In his most recent role Ben was the COO of Pipeline Technique Limited and member of the board.
Non-executive Director and Head of Remuneration Committee
David has 17 years experience in private equity with 3i plc., and previously served as an Executive Chairman at Shepherd Building Group (owner of the Portakabin Group). He held the roles of COO, and then CEO of Logstor SAS in Denmark, and Chairman and CEO of Serimax SAS.
Chief Financial Officer
As Chief Financial Officer Christopher sits on the company’s board, where he leads the group’s financial management and strategy.
He joined CRC Evans from Weatherford, where he most recently served as Senior Director for the Scandinavia Operation. During his tenure at Weatherford, he also held senior financial leadership roles including Finance Director for Europe & Africa, based in Aberdeen, and Global Segment Controller in Dubai.
With over a decade of experience in the Energy Services sector and a career that has taken him across multiple continents, Chris brings a global perspective and deep expertise in corporate finance, commercial operations, and business performance. He holds a BA in Business Administration from Pacific Lutheran University and an Executive MBA from INSEAD.
Non-executive Director
Kenny has over 35 years of experience, mainly in the energy sector with companies such as Schlumberger and Maersk, where he held global and regional CFO roles. In the Private Equity sector, he has operated as a CFO for portfolio firms of KKR, Bluewater and Cerberus.
An experienced Board Director, he has served on boards for businesses around the world including joint ventures. A former Non-Executive Director of Maersk Supply Services, a leading vessel provider to the offshore energy sector. Kenny is also currently a Non-Executive Board Director of Authentix and Varel Energy Solutions. In the Education sector he is a Governor of the University of West of Scotland.
